n Onlangse vinnige werksbesoek aan Porterville
A recent quick working visit to Porterville (South Africa)

I had to conduct a marriage in Porterville, and we slept over in a guest house on a farm just outside the town, which is about 80 kilometers from Brackenfell/Cape Town

I did not have a lot of time looking for nice scenery, and the only point of interest to me, was a dam on the farm where we were sleeping for the night. Here I could catch the setting sun in the West.

The next morning, the sun came up from behind me in the east, colouring the mountains in the vicinity of Riebeeck Kasteel.

The rural areas of our country is full of old buildings, each with its own history... witnesses of era's gone by, where people before us was living and working from these places.
